Christopher Kuntz

A talented jewelry designer, Christopher holds a Graduate Gemologist degree with the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and is the go-to person for advice on diamonds and gems. He also offers gem identification services through his in-store lab.

Franz Kuntz

Franz holds a GIA diploma in Jewelry Business Management and has years of experience in jewelry design, working with gold and silver coins and bullion, customer service, and business networking.

Phil Bevan

Phil took a “temporary” job in 1979 at his uncle’s jewelry store. He now brings 35 years of jewelry industry experience to Chipper’s team. After graduating from WSU with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Phil earned the prestigious Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America. His community service included membership in Rotary International for over 25 years. Phil is married with two sons, enjoys tennis, playing piano and cooking.

Randy Caverly

Randy entered the Jewelry Industry in 1975 as a Retail Jeweler, and went on to be a Manufacturer’s Jewelry and Watch Representative and Jewelry Appraiser. He joined Chipper’s in 1985 and now specializes in diamonds and estate jewelry, using his training from the Gemological Institute of America, the Canadian Gem Lab, and the ISG of Texas. His passion for helping customers understand and appreciate their purchased and inherited jewelry and what they can do to enhance, restore, and protect it makes him an essential and valuable part of our team.

Ladonna Kuntz

Ladonna began working in the business with husband Chip in 1979. Ladonna is gifted in both jewelry design and business management.

Chip Kuntz

Chip founded Chipper’s Jewelry in 1974. After retiring in 2013, he turned over the ownership of Chipper’s Jewelry to his wife Ladonna.  The entire team values keeping Chip on a “cell phone leash” to answer questions from his wealth of knowledge. You might even catch him covering lunch breaks in the coin department. Thank you, Chipper, for your many years of service to the northwest!
